Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing the people in Jharkhand on Thursday, said that, after the formation of the new government, the few states where he has had the opportunity to go first, Jharkhand is amongst them. The Prime Minister reminisced that it was at the very same Prabhat Tara Maidan, on a rainy morning, “Today when I came back to this maidan and many old memories were refreshed. This is the very same maidan where the Ayushman Bharat Yojna in last September was launched."
The Prime Minister addressing the crowd added that he has had the privilege of adding one more thing to the identity of Jharkhand, “The new identity of your Jharkhand is going to be that this is the state which is the launching pad of big schemes for the interests of poor and tribals.” This means that when the people of this nation talk about this big scheme for the poor and ask about where it began, Jharkhand’s name will be discussed the most, he added.
“Here is the world's largest from Jharkhand, the Health Assurance Scheme- Ayushman Bharat was launched and today the lakhs of people of this country who due to monetary issues could not go for medical treatment, they have now been treated and raining blessings and these blessings are reaching Jharkhand too,” PM Modi said. He also launched the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana to ensure pension to crores of farmers across the country and the 'launchpad' for this initiative was Jharkhand. “This is not all, Jharkhand is also starting the National Pension Scheme for crores of traders and self-employed,” the Prime Minister announced.
“From this great land, I congratulate nationwide farmers and merchants because first, we provided pension to the unorganised sector, then the farmer's pension scheme after that we provided pensions scheme to the merchants and employed and in a manner all those who are responsible in building this nation, the citizens of this country in their old age should not have to live with difficulty the guarantee is taken by this pension scheme.”
