Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday addressed the nation after the inauguration of the Kartarpur Corridor and the Supreme Court verdict on the Ayodhya land dispute case. During his address to the nation, PM Modi praised the unanimous decision of the top court and also emphasised on working more strongly towards the creation of New India. While calling out everybody to come and contribute to national development, PM Modi said, "Let us all mark a new beginning and work towards the building of New India. We have to decide our Vikas (development) and Vishwas (trust) by ensuring that we take everyone together, without leaving anyone behind. We have to make sure that we ensure everybody's development and take everyone together as we move forward to achieve everyone's trust."
Pronouncing the landmark judgment in the Ayodhya dispute case, the Supreme Court on Saturday, delivered a unanimous judgment in the title suit of the disputed area awarding it to the Hindu parties for the construction of a temple. It also directed the Centre to come up with a scheme within three months to set up a trust which will hand over the outer courtyard and inner courtyard of the site for construction of a temple.
"Central government shall form in three to four months a scheme for setting up of a trust. They shall make necessary arrangements for the management of trust and construction of the temple," Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi said while reading out the verdict. In its order, the Supreme Court also asked the Central or State government to provide an alternate land of 5 acres to the Muslims for the construction of a mosque.

During his address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the Kartarpur Corridor to the nation and said, "Today being present here at this holy land, I feel delighted. This is my honour that I am dedicating the Kartarpur corridor to the country. I am as delighted as you all feel during ‘Kar Seva’. I congratulate every Sikh around the world," the Prime Minister said. "Today at this holy land in front of Guru Granth I pray that his blessings always stay with me. The opening of the Kartarpur Sahib corridor before the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji has brought us immense happiness," he further added.
