PM Modi on ‘Man vs Wild’: Host Bear Grylls says 'it’s an honour’ as PM thanks him for India visit

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his gratitude to 'Man vs Wild' star Bear Grylls for visiting India, the veteran adventurer termed it an ‘honour’ to enjoy the adventure with the leader.

After Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s pre-election interview with Akshay Kumar, the citizens of India are excited to see PM’s lighter side again as the trailer of his ‘Man vs Wild’ episode was unveiled on the occasion of International Tiger Day. As PM Modi expressed his gratitude to Bear Grylls for visiting India, the veteran adventurer termed it an ‘honour’ to enjoy the adventure with the leader. He also echoed PM’s message of the importance of environment conservation.

PM Modi-Bear Grylls’ banter: 

As the trailer of the PM’s ‘Man vs Wild’ episode was unveiled, the Discovery show became the most-talked topic on Twitter. Later, PM Modi praised the natural treasures of the country, tweeting, “India- where you find lush green forests, diverse wildlife, beautiful mountains and mighty rivers. Watching this programme will make you want to visit different parts of India and add to discourse of environmental conservation.” He added, “Thanks @BearGrylls for coming here!”

Grylls replied, “Sir, it was an honour to share an adventure with you! Let’s keep up our mission of spreading the positive message of conservation & protecting our planet."

PM Modi’s ‘Man vs Wild’ episode: 

The ‘Man Vs Wild’ episode will be aired on the Discovery Network on August 12 at 9 PM. 

The trailer of the episode sees PM Modi welcoming Grylls to India as he came out of his vehicle. PM is even heard saying a line in Hindi to him. From sharing a laugh, exploring locations and animals at the Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand, analysing the objects they stumble upon, enjoying a boat ride and even meals together, the episode promises to be an exciting one.
