"On must focus on the goal, and divide the goal into small parts, and add together what you have achieved but forget the moments where you failed to achieve the goal," he said to a student. "Otherwise, you would think, 'that day it didn't work out, that day it didn't work out, then you will feel disappointment, you should," he added.

PM Modi also checked what was the perception the students carried about the entire episode of Chandrayaan 2's expected landing witnessed at ISRO where Vikram lander lost contact just minutes before landing on the surface. "What will you tell when you return home?" he asked. The students said, "The mission was about to be successful, but we lost contact," to which PM Modi said "Yes." He also spoke to students from Bhutan asking if they had made friends at the ISRO centre.
