On International Tiger Day, there was a special news for fans of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as his ‘Man vs Wild’ episode with popular adventurer Bear Grylls was officially announced. With Grylls also enjoying a massive following in India, apart from his worldwide popularity, netizens went gaga over the collaboration, confidently stating that it’d be the most-watched episode in the history of the show.

When and where to watch:

The ‘Man vs Wild’ episode featuring PM Modi will be aired on the Discovery Network on August 12 at 9 PM, it was announced on Monday. A trailer was also unveiled where PM Modi and Grylls are seen exploring the Indian wilderness together at the Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand while bonding big time. 

Grylls shared the news on Twitter, “People across 180 countries will get to see the unknown side of PM  @narendramodi as he ventures into Indian wilderness to create awareness about animal conservation & environmental change.”

Netizens were super excited with the news, confidently asserting that it’d be the ‘most watched’ and the ‘best’ episode in the history of the show. Some relived their own memories of the show since childhood.

People also poked fun at the contrast, of Grylls being known for eating animals alive and PM being a vegetarian.
