PM Narendra Modi to interact with Youth and Young Professionals at New India Youth Conclave in Surat. LIVE Updates

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to interact with participants at the New India Youth conclave during his two-day visit to Surat on Wednesday.

During his two-day visit to Gujarat, PM Narendra Modi is set to interact with the youngs and young professionals at the New India Youth conclave. For the first time, Surat is going to witness an event wherein all the professional lawyers, doctors, tax consultants, technocrats and various 10,000 + professionals will interact and exchange ideas with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

PM Modi will also inaugurate Smt Rasilaben Sevantilal Shah Venus Hospital in Surat.

On Mahatma Gandhi's death anniversary on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the National Salt Satyagraha Memorial at Dandi, Gujarat to the nation. 

During his day-long visit to Gujarat, he also laid the foundation stone for extension of Terminal Building of Surat Airport which will lead to enhanced connectivity and prosperity in Surat and the Southern Gujarat region.

Recalling the role of Surat in freedom movement, PM Modi expressed hope that the city will emerge as one of the fastest developing cities across the globe in a decade with a surge in the investments in the city.

This will be PM Modi's second visit to Gujarat this month. He had visited the state on January 19 to dedicate the Armoured System Complex at Hazira besides attending the Vibrant Gujarat Summit on January 17 and 18.

On Tuesday, PM Modi interacted with students, teachers and parents, as part of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2.0 at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi. The interaction, which lasted for over ninety minutes, saw students, teachers and parents relax, laugh, and repeatedly applaud the Prime Minister’s observations, which included a touch of humour and wit.

This year, students from across the country, and also Indian students residing abroad, participated in the event.

The Prime Minister emphasized that parents should not expect their children to fulfil their own unfulfilled dreams. Every child has his or her own potential and strengths, and it is important to understand these positives of every child, he noted.

Some people have the habit to cry on things... neither I believe in crying not making people cry. I believe in taking things forward.

Sometimes people ask me... Modiji.. you worked a lot in every sector.. But you have increased the expectations of the people, that you might not be able to fulfil their dreams.

The country is changing and the main reason is that population has decided that we will change now.

Earlier it was believed that government will do everything... we came and changed that thought. Now citizens believe that they can change the country. They are taking country ahead.

It is not one Modi, but it is 1.3 billion Modis who are changing the faith of the country today.

Nobody expected that four generation who ruled the nation, a tea-seller is competing with them. Did anyone expect that their aides have also been taking the rounds of the court. Those who have looted from the country, they will have to return. We have made laws that will fight against the looters wherever they will be.

Congress-mukt Bharat means that in the past 15 years whatever wrong deeds Congress did in the country- politics, economic scams, we have make India free from them.

India has reached at a level and we should not lose this opportunity. When we formed the government then India was at number 10 in economical development, but now it has reached to the 6th position.

When we formed the government in 2014, India has 38% rural sanitation, now it has reached to 98%. People have not sent me here to enjoy at the position of Prime Minister, I will do everything I can for the development of the country.

But unfortunately, for the opposition, it is difficult to debate on issues of development because we have developed every sector of the country from the scratch. They(Opposition) only have one aim - Modi.
