Srinagar: Police Officer refutes allegations that political detainees were manhandled

The claim that the political detainees were manhandled while being shifted to the MLA hostel in Srinagar has strongly been refuted by J&K Police Officer Imtiyaz

The claim of political detainees being manhandled has strongly been refuted by Imtiyaz Hussain, a police officer in Jammu and Kashmir. The political detainees including Shah Faesal, Sajad Lone and Waheed Para were alleged to be manhandled claimed Iltija Mufti, daughter of Mehbooba Mufti. Mehbooba's daughter who assumed control of her mother's Twitter handle after she was detained, took to the microblogging site and claimed that the incident occurred while the political detainees were being shifted to the MLA hostel in Srinagar.
