Politicians across the nation pays tribute to the Father of Indian Constitution Dr B R Ambedkar on his birth anniversary

On the 128th birth anniversary of Dr. B R Ambedkar, the father of the Indian Constitution, politicians across different parties took to Twitter to pay their tribute to him.

On the 128th birth anniversary of Dr. B R Ambedkar, the father of the Indian Constitution, politicians across different parties took to Twitter to pay their tribute to him.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted a video with in which he expressed his gratitude to Babasaheb for fighting for the backward classes and said that it is because of Ambedkar's fight that he was PM today. He said that Ambedkar is an inspiration for all. He also said that Ambedkar has given the mantra that people should not cry in scarcity and should not bow down under pressure. Speaking about his New India, he said that it was the dream of Babasaheb that he is fulfilling today. 

President Ramnath Kovind also paid his tributes to Dr Ambedkar at his statue in Parliament House Lawns, New Delhi. He was accompanied by PM Modi, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and many other politicians.

BJP President Amit Shah paid his homage by saying that Ambedkar's thoughts and personality is inspiration for all. He fought against social evils all through his life and gave us a Constitution that ensure the welfare of all groups of society.  He tweeted:

Taking to Twitter, BSP supremo Mayawati, said:

"Tributes to Dr B R Ambedkar and greetings to the millions of followers of the country and the world. We vow to take his incomplete movement of self-respect and humanism to its destiny through medium of votes."

The Congress and its chief Rahul Gandhi also wished the nation on his birth anniversary:
