Prime Minister's innovative learning program to begin from October 10

Prime Minister's innovative learning program- Dhruv will begin from October 10 to October 23. The details of the program were shared by the HRD Ministry

Union Minister of Human Resource Development Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced that the Prime Minister's Innovative Learning Program - Dhruv will begin from October 10, at a press conference on Wednesday, October 9. The announcement of the same was also made on the official Twitter handle of the HRD Ministry.

The event will go on from October 10 to October 23

"Talented students from the arts and science streams have been selected from around the country for the Prime Minister Innovative Learning Program - Dhruv. It would start on October 10 in Bengaluru and conclude on October 23 at IIT Delhi," Ramesh Pokhriyal said.

Adding further he informed that a total of 60 students have been selected so far from the field of Science and Arts.
The students will get together and have the opportunity to discuss main problems and challenges that are being faced by the global community. 

"These 60 students - 30 from the science stream and 30 from the arts stream - will brainstorm on challenges like global warming, glacial meltdown, water conservation and agricultural problems. This will be a push towards India's quest to become a $ 5 trillion economy," he said.

ISRO Chairman Kailasavadivoo Sivan, Prime Minister's Principal Scientific Advisor Professor K Vijayraghavan and the first Indian man in space, Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma will be present at the event. HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank took to Twitter and credited the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for starting such a unique event.
