Weeks ahead of assembly elections in Rajasthan, Congress president Rahul Gandhi addressed a public meeting during Mahila Congress Convention in Kota on Thursday, where he launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party by saying that BJP does not allow women leaders to speak up and participate in the decision-making policies of the party, while all decisions are taken by BJP male leaders only.
“BJP might have women in their political organisation, but they are not allowed to take any decision. All decisions are taken by men only in BJP,” Congress president stated in his addressin poll-bound Rajasthan.
Rahul Gandhi also targeted PM Narendra Modi for sending CBI's former top boss Alok Verma on a leave, before he could start investigation in the Rafale deal.
"A committee comprising three people including, Prime Minister of India, Opposition leader, and the Chief Justice of India is organized to decide upon the removal of the director of CBI. But, PM took the decision himself, without consulting the other two members of the committee. It is because, he was scared that an investigation will be carried in the rafale deal and his theft will get caught in front of the entire country,” Rahul Gandhi said attacking PM Modi on the unexpected removal of Alok Verma, former DCBI," said Rahul Gandhi.
In his speech, Rahul Gandhi went onto accuse PM Modi for allegedly helping Lalit Modi and Mehul Choksi in easily fleeing away from the country, after stealing people's money.
“People like Lalit Modi and Mehul Choksi took crores of money from the people and he did not do anything. Anil Ambani is in debt, and yet you gifted him 30,000 crore deal. Petrol prices are shooting up in India, while they are reducing in rest of the world,” Congress Supremo asserted.
Meanwhile, the election in the state of Rajasthan will take place in single place on December 7, 2018.
