Rajasthan student becomes a local hero after making a helicopter

A student from the Rajasthan’s Jhoonpdi village became a local celebrity after he showcased his helicopter made out of waste and parts of two motorcycles.

A student from the Rajasthan’ Jhoonpdi village became a local celebrity after he made a helicopter from waste materials and parts of two motorcycles. A video that went viral on the social media shows Chetram Gurjar seated inside his self-made helicopter which he calls, ‘Pawan Putra’.

The innovative development by a Rajasthan based student has been gaining a lot of appreciation online. The video was put up by a Russian International TV Network, RT on their Youtube and Twitter handle.

 In this modern era of technology and artificial intelligence, Chetram has shown the world on how if one has the determination and the required skills then it’s not impossible to create what you desire.

'Pawan Putra' awaits Government green signal to fly

Decorated and coloured in bright saffron, white and green the helicopter has social and national slogans like ‘Mera Bharat Mahan’, ‘Jai Javan, Jai Kisan’ and ‘Jal hi Jeevan Hai’ written over it. The locals of the Jhoonpdi village can be seen observing the helicopter made out of waste when Chetram starts the self-made helicopter.

Chetram has not yet flown his self-made helicopter Pawan Putra, as, he awaits government approval. As per the Indian student, ‘Pawan Putra’ can fly up to 6-meters (20 feet) once it gets the government green signal to take the skies.

Citizens efforts to revolutionize and recycle waste 

Chetram Gujar's invention out of waste is not the first to come into the limelight, earlier a florist from Manipur named, Neli Chachea came into the limelight and received appreciation for her efforts to revolutionize the concept of waste and recycling it to make dolls. A lot of efforts throughout India and the world are being made to recycle waste.
