In the realm of speculation over Kashmir, Yoga Guru and Patanjali founder Ramdev Baba in a huge statement has asserted that PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah will bring an end to the Kashmir issue.
He further asserted that Article 370 should be abrogated from Jammu and Kashmir.
He said, "After independence, the wait for one nation, one law is going to end soon. One nation, one Constitution, one flag, one agenda. For the unity of the country, it is important that Article 370 should be abrogated."
"We believe in Amit Shah ji, and this would happen under PM Modi and Jammu and Kashmir was ours and will be ours. Those who abuse India, disrespect the Indian flag and those taking funds from Pakistan and attacking Indian soldiers won't be alive anymore. Modiji and Amit Shah will also resolve the issue of PoK. This work would happen in a few days," he added.
Amid the prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir, a meeting was conducted between Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba and National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, at the Parliament on Sunday. This development has come a day after Indian Army foiled attempts of Pakistan's Border Action Team (BAT) on a forward post along the Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector of Jammu and Kashmir, killing five to seven intruders, as informed by a defence spokesman on Saturday.
As per reports, the Home Minister is also likely to visit Jammu and Kashmir for a couple of days after the conclusion of the Parliament session on August 7. Amit Shah's visit may come before the Independence Day on August 15, amid the prevailing security tensions in the Valley in the aftermath of the curtailment of the Amarnath Yatra by the state government.
As per sources, Union Cabinet meeting is also set to take place at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence 7, Lok Kalyan Marg on Monday at 9:30 AM. Sources have also told that BJP Working President JP Nadda will also be holding key meeting with party workers at the headquarters later in the day over the prevailing tensions in Valley.
Furthermore, along with the additional forces deployed by the Centre in the Valley, Rapid Action Force (RAF) have also been deployed in the Poonch sector of the state on Sunday.
