REVELATION: MNS Leader Emerges At Forefront Of Shocking Physical Assault On BMC Official Over Flooding In A Mumbai Building

Mumbai has been witnessing incessant rains throughout the city receiving a record-breaking volume of rainfall over the past three days. Incidents of water-logging have been witnessed in several parts of Mumbai. In an unprecented incident, rain water got filled inside the basement of a building in Mumbai's Kandivali area.

Amid the incident, a videow has been accessed showing angry people physically assualting a BMC official in the basement. As per sources, one of the men beating the BMC official has been identified as MNC leader Dinesh Salve who can be seen allegedly attacking the BMC official in the video. 

The visuals show people, including the MNS leader allegedly hitting the BMC official in the water under the basement of the building.

The incident happened on June 3, a day after Mumbai was under the effect of continous heavy rainfall. As the basement got submerged in water, several cars parked inside the basement also got immersed in water.  As per sources, BMC did not take the initiative to take out the water, which is angry people of the Kandivali building thrashed the BMC official.

Meanwhile, as water submerged a lot of areas in the city, NCP leader Nawab Malik on Monday took a sharp jibe at the Shiva Sena-headed Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) after his residence in Mumbai's Kurla region got water-logged.

Taking to Twitter, he shared pictures of his house, located along LBS Marg in the eastern suburb of Kurla, which was seen under knee-length water, Nawab Malik thanked the BMC in a sharp attack at Shiv Sena and BJP-run Maharashtra government. 

As per reports, waterlogging was witnessed outside Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray's residence `Matoshree' on Tuesday as rains lashed Mumbai

The Shiv Sena has been ruling in the BMC, the country's richest civic body, for over two decades, however, has not been able to take adequate steps in addressing the problems rising due to the rains every year in the city of Mumbai.
