RJD plays shocking politics over AN-32 tragedy, mentions conspiracy and echoes Congress' China angle

Days after the wreckage of the AN-32 aircraft of the Indian Air Force was spotted in Arunachal Pradesh, Lalu Prasad Yadav-led Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) made the event political by saying that is it a conspiracy or is it attack by China. 

On June 12, the Indian Air Force (IAF) spotted the wreckage of the AN-32 aircraft at 16 kilometers north of Lipo and northeast of Tapo at an approximate elevation of 12000 feet by the Indian Air Force Mi-17 helicopter, that was involved in search operations. On June 13, the IAF wrote that eight of its members had reached the crash site in Arunachal Pradesh's Siang district on Thursday morning and that there were no survivors.

Days after the tragic announcement, RJD took to Twitter and blatantly tried to target the government over the AN 32 mishap. The tweet that read: 'The accident of AN 32 led to the martyrdom of 13 air force officers, ended with an exclamation mark. Further, the tweet questioned the intention saying that why did it take 8 days to search an aircraft in its own region? The tweet then took a jibe saying that why is there 'silence' on it. It went on to question if the entire incident was an internal conspiracy or attack by China.

Earlier in a shameful incident, Congress party's Hardik Patel condemned China claiming the AN-32 and the soldiers in the aircraft have been captured by the neighbouring country and asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to carry out a surgical strike on the neighboring country, extending support for the attack. 

"China Murdabad tha aur murdabad hi rahega. (China was 'Murdabad' and will remain 'Murdabad'). I want to say to China to return our AN-32 and our jawans. Modi sahab, you don't worry, we all are there with you. Carry out a surgical strike on China and bring back our jawans," Hardik Patel wrote in his tweet in Hindi. 

Responding to the tweet, Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Kiren Rijiju lashed out at the Congress leader, asking him if he knows where is Arunachal Pradesh, where the debris of the AN-32 aircraft was found on Tuesday. 

"You are a leader of the Congress party. Do you know where is Arunachal Pradesh?" Kiren Rijiju wrote in his tweet.
