An U.S. stand-up comedian released a video of her mocking and getting four Sikhs off the plane because she was feeling 'threatened' by them. For her so-called funny act, she received widespread criticism, with social media users blasting her for her not-so-humorous post.

In India also, her post has gone viral for all the wrong reasons, with politicians also taking note of her video. Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa slammed the Instagram comedian, who goes by the name Jess Hilarious, and demanded External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to make sure action is taken against her.

"4 innocent Sikh passengers kicked off a plane cos celebrity @jess_hilarious was uncomfortable with their APPEARANCE What a shame Airline company acceded to her request! Sikhs have been most helpful community in times of trouble yet they get such discrimination @SushmaSwaraj Ji," his Twitter post read.

Jess had taken to Instagram to post a video in which she boasted about four sikhs getting kicked off from the plane because she felt threatened by them. Though, netizens took objection to her action, and slammed her left and right on social media.

She had deleted the video after witnessing social media users slamming her and apologized for her actions.
