Sakshi Singh Dhoni, the wife of former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, has lashed out at the Jharkhand government for failing to ensure zero power cuts in the state. Sakshi Dhoni took to the micro-blogging website to complain about long power cuts in the capital city of Ranchi in Jharkhand. Sakshi Dhoni, who recently returned from a vacation with her friends in Italy, had earlier issued a clarification when speculations of MS Dhoni announcing his retirement was raging social media and had said that they were just rumours. Now, MS Dhoni's wife has hit out at the Jharkhand government for failing to keep up its promise of maintaining zero power cuts in the state.

Sakshi Dhoni lashes out at state government

Complaining of power cuts ranging from four to seven hours a day, Sakshi Dhoni took to Twitter to hit out at the concerned authorities. She said that the power supply was interrupted for five hours on 19 September despite a good weather and the absence of any festival. Sakshi Dhoni hoped that the concerned authorities would take notice of the issue and would resolve the same. Sakshi Dhoni dismisses rumours of retirement

MS Dhoni's wife Sakshi Dhoni took to Twitter to address the rumours that were raging the internet since the morning. Taking to the micro-blogging website, Sakshi wrote 'Its called rumours', indicating that the hue about MS Dhoni's retirement was not true. The wicketkeeper-batsman completed his two-week stint with the 106th battalion of the Territorial Army from July 31 to August 15 and is expected to return to action after his break officially ends on September 21. The veteran was also not included in the T20 squad named for the series against South Africa. Many former cricketers have thrown their weight behind Dhoni and have voiced their opinion for MS Dhoni to help in the team's transition and groom young players before he retires, thus helping India prepare for the T20 World Cup next year in Australia and the 2023 World Cup in India.
