Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik on Tuesday let the world know that he and his wife Sania Mirza have been blessed with the arrival of baby boy in their family. Shoaib confirmed the news through his official Twitter handle, which read,
"Excited to announce: Its a boy, and my girl is doing great and keeping strong as usual #Alhumdulilah. Thank you for the wishes and Duas, we are humbled #BabyMirzaMalik"
Initially, it was Bollywood filmmaker Farah Khan, a close friend of both Shoaib and Sania, who revealed the good news. On her Instagram handle, her message read, "Finally!! Best news in a long time!! Congratulations @mirzasaniar@realshoaibmalik @anammirzaaa@imranmirza58 n of course the nani n daadi ♥️god bless our lil angel"
She then followed it up with another message on the social media website. "My dearest n best friend becomes a mum!! @mirzasaniar I couldn’t b happier 🎉🎉🎉lov uuuuu n arriving soon to meet the lil prince♥️♥️♥️," he post read.
A couple of weeks before giving birth to her first child, Sania Mirza had hit out at all those who termed pregnancy as a 'disease'.
Sania and Shoaib had married each other in 2010, and they had announced the arrival of their first baby earlier this year in April.
