Moments after AgustaWestland scam accused Christian Michel reached at the Palam Technical Airport in New Delhi after being extradited from UAE on the orders of the Dubai government, Christian Michel's Dubai based lawyer has told Republic TV that they are in the lookout for a good Indian lawyer, since they don't have adequate funds to hire a lawyer to fight for Michel's case in India.

Furthermore, Michel's lawyer has revealed that his team is seeking the help of Indian sponsors to help him out with the case.

Meanwhile, the Central Bureau of Investigation has taken the 54-year-old into custody and he will be produced before the Patiala House Court on Wednesday. Republic TV on Tuesday also learnt that the operation to extradite Christian Michel to India was codenamed to be 'Operation Unicorn.' He was brought to India under the supervision of India's National Security Advisor Ajit Doval as per sources.

Earlier on Tuesday, in an exclusive interview to Republic TV, Christian Michel's lawyer Rosemary Patrizi has claimed that Michel is innocent and he was being framed to win the elections.

On being asked about the last time she spoke to Christian Michel, she revealed that he called her on Tuesday morning to inform her that he is being taken to India.

"I spoke to him this morning. He called me and told me that he will going to India. He told me not to worry. I hope he will be okay there. I hope they will take care of him there. I hope they don't give him drugs to say what he doesn't want to say. I wish everything will be fine for him," said Rosemary Patrizi.

She went onto claim that Michel's innocence in the AgustaWestland scam case stating that he is being targeted for elections in India.

"Questions have been made thousand times but there is no bribery and India never ever showed any evidence about bribery. After five years, no one has about kickbacks and bribery. I believe he is innocent and there is no bribery. I believe they are using him to win the elections. I hope Mr Modi doesn't need this to win the elections. I hope he will have a good time in India. I hope he will be free to say what he has to say, that he is innocent and there is no bribery. Even our court here finds that," Patrizi added.
