In the video seen above, BJP workers are seen eating in feast in Patna following a membership drive. Gorging on the full thalis the workers appear oblivious to the tragedy struck in the state.

In a similar display of apathy, both Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey and Union MoS for Health Ashwani Choubey ran away from reporters who questioned them on the deaths due to encephalitis as well as the skeletal remains.

On June 22, after Republic TV exposed the skeletal remains in the Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital, Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey evaded questions by media.

In the video, Mangal Pandey can be seen walking quietly after leaving the venue of the meeting by the BJP delegation regarding the Encephalitis deaths in the state. He walks to his vehicle without responding to the questions by reporters.

Deputy CM Sushil Modi had also displayed highhandedness when asked about the Encephalitis outbreak by the media and asked reporters to 'leave the press conference if they want to ask about the death of the children'.

Union MoS Ashwani Kumar Choubey evaded the media on Saturday on the issues of the deaths of children in Bihar due to encephalitis. Choubey was literally chased by the media who asked him who was responsible for the deaths of the children owing to encephalitis.

Choubey made quick strides, walking away and evading questions from the media for close to a minute as a volley of questions were thrown at him by them. He folded his hands and replied to the questions with a 'sorry' and walked away until the reporters stopped following him.
