SHAMEFUL: No mention of Pakistan as Congress coordinates to politicise terror attack on CRPF, Rahul Gandhi keeps his hands clean

Seemingly unable and unwilling to help itself, the Congress party indulged in shameful, insensitive and coordinated politics mere minutes after the cowardly Pakistan-backed terrorist attack on a CRPF convoy in Pulwama - the worst attack of its kind for almost 15 years.

Seemingly unable and unwilling to help itself, the Congress party indulged in shameful, insensitive and coordinated politics mere minutes after the cowardly Pakistan-backed terrorist attack on a CRPF convoy in Pulwama - the worst attack of its kind for almost 15 years.

At the time of publishing, 26 jawans have been martyred after what is believed to have been an explosives-laden car targeted a 70-vehicle strong CRPF convoy, causing a massive blast that engulfed at least two of the vehicles and leaving behind a scene of utter devastation on the key Jammu-Srinagar national highway. A number of CRPF jawans are also injured and have been shifted to hospitals.

Even as authorities scrambled to get to grips with the situation, and Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad claimed responsibility, the Congress party, apparently with elections and only elections on its mind, issued a pair of statements laden with political attacks, even as party chief Rahul Gandhi put out a more measured statement and let his subordinates do the dirty work.

Rahul Gandhi's key aide and Congress media in-charge Randeep Surjewala followed his condemnation and tribute with a list of major terrorist attacks during the term of the Modi government plus a hash-job political attack:

"Uri, Pathankot, Pulwama- the terror list & compromise of National Security by Modi Govt continues unabated," Surjewala wrote.

Surjewala's fellow Congress spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill thought it would be a good idea, even as the casualty figures continued to climb, to invoke the recent liberal use of a line from 'Uri: The Surgical Strike', to buttress his political attack:

Even as his spokespersons resolved to make 'compromise with national security' their attack line, Rahul Gandhi chose to keep his hands clean in the matter:

In each of the three tweets, there's not one mention of Pakistan.
