The government legalised the Shillong Teer betting in 1982. They realised that the lottery could be a decent source of revenue. Meghalaya Amusements and Betting Tax (Amendment) Act 1982 currently controls the Teer betting. The Meghalaya Assembly passed the Meghalaya Regulation of the Game of Arrow Shooting on September 27, 2018.

Shillong Teer Lottery's 4 pm & 5 pm results for October 19, 2019

A large number of Teer betting tickets are sold on a daily basis. The timing slot is between 10:00 am to 3:30 pm. The first-round results are declared at 4:00 pm while the second round results go live at 5:00 pm.
