A disgraceful video has emerged from New Delhi, showing Police men thrashing some men in broad daylight after their tempo bumped into the Police vehicle.
After an altercation that broke out between the tempo driver and Policemen following the incident, in the viral video, the three Policemen including a Sub-Inspector could be seen dragging the tempo driver, thrashing and kicking him, after the brawl escalated and the Sikh man took his sword out.
Bypassers filmed the incident that occurred in North Delhi, which immediately gained traction and became viral. Following which, the issue escalated and people from the Sikh community came out in huge numbers to protest against the brutality of the cops.
Ever since three men in uniform have been suspended.
Shiromani Akali Dal leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa tweeted over the issue, condemning the conduct of the Police officers and further stated that he will file a complaint with the Police Commissioner himself, and approach the Home Ministry and Court if needed.
Calling out the 'brutal action' conducted by Delhi Police, Jagdeep Singh, an AAP MLA requested the Delhi government, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and deputy CM Manish Sisodia to act upon it.
