Sensational details continue to emerge from the 52-page ED chargesheet in the Agusta Westland case which has been accessed by Republic TV, in which middleman Christian Michel's revelations have rendered a large number of the case's facets cracked.

The chargesheet has been filed against 41 individuals including Gautam Khaitan, Carlo Gerosa, Guido Hashchke, the Tyagi Brothers and Agusta Middleman Christian Michel who was extradited to India on December 4, 2018, and makes clear the depths to which India's government had been infiltrated by the middlemen.

Page 21 of the ED's chargesheet mentions a dispatch dated 28th August, 2009, by Michel where he speaks about having 'fixed' the date of a Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) meeting.

Speaking about the pressure that 'A.W' is under, the dispatch speaks about knowing the coming schedule for the CCS meeting, and then promises something would happen just three days later.

Further, it speaks about 'fixing' another CCS meeting: "We had fixed the CCS for 30th July. We and the team (user, bureaucrat and key political elements) expected it to clear without a problem."

It goes on to add key details of what happened in the CCS meeting, including of what 'the PM' said, meaning that a defence middleman had knowledge of intricate details of a key CCS meeting:

"...at the meeting the PM suddenly states that this is okay but first all the ministers present who may have questions, please raise them to the Defence Ministry and they will be answered before the file comes back to the CCS again."
