The Pakistan President Arif Alvi has openly called on its citizens to post videos on Kashmir, calling it their 'biggest weapon.'

The call for social media war against India over the Kashmir integration last week came while he was addressing a flag hoisting ceremony at Islamabad.

Amid communication blockage in Jammu and Kashmir following the abrogation of Article 370, India has been fiercely battling the vicious Pakistan ISI-backed social media propaganda and anti-India narrative emerging from the neighbouring country, keen to incite unrest in the valley.

After blatantly engaging in cross-border terrorism, now the Pakistani President has called on a propaganda war, in a deliberate attempt to meddle in India's domestic affair, by instigating people to spread fake information.

Along with Pakistan President, politicians present at the Pakistan Independence Day event, Mashaal Malik, the wife of detained Kashmiri leader Mohammad Yasin Malik, also addressed the event during which she shared a poem she wrote about the 'freedom struggle of people under Indian authorities' in the Kashmir valley.

The desperate attempts of Pakistan are subsequent to the global reaction to the Kashmir integration issue, wherein the international community has turned their heads away from Pakistan's foul cry.

Russia became the first P-5 member to support India over the abrogation of Article 370. It said all action taken by India was under the constitutional framework. The United States and kept its response neutral and not taken sides. However, China has expressed its concerns over the current developments in Jammu and Kashmir.
Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Tuesday asked Pakistanis to not live in a "fool's paradise" by expecting United Nations Security Council to "wait with garlands" to support Islamabad's contentions regarding India's decision to abrogate Kashmir's special status.

"Giving vent to emotions is easy and raising objections is much easier. However it is difficult to understand the issue and move forward. They are not waiting for you with garlands in their hands. Any members out of the P-5 nations can be a hurdle... Do not live in the fool paradise," said Qureshi during a press conference aired on PTV on Sunday.

India, on the other hand, has made it is clear that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and the issue is completely internal. A rattled Pakistan has initiated a series of decisions, including downgrading bilateral relations with India and suspending bilateral trade, halting of Samjhauta and Thar Express trains from its side and banning of Indian movies from Pakistani cinemas.
