Siddaramaiah's behaviour with the lady seeking a hospital from the Congress leader has invited massive backlash from the social media. Read few of the comments here:

While there is huge backlash against veteran Congress leader Siddaramaiah for misbehaving with a lady, Congress state president Dinesh Gundu Rao defended his party's 'super-CM' as he said that it was not Siddaramaiah's intention to with the woman and went on to blame the lady for what happened.

"She was talking in an agitated manner, as it is a local thing, sometimes when people start asking questions in a rush way, you take away the mike, when he tried to take away the mike her dupatta was pulled away it is not. To impute any such intention is horrifying. The intention was to only take the mike away from her," said Dinesh Gundu Rao.
