'Not worried as we have sufficient documents to prove innocence'

“I am not worried about the raid as we have sufficient documents to prove that we are not at fault. The institution was built by my father HM Gangadharaiah 50 years ago, and we did not have any other business,” Parameshwara told reporters. The institute was managed by Parameshwara's elder brother G Shivaprasad who passed away a year ago. After the passing of his brother, Parameshwara took over as the Chancellor.

A group of Parameshwara's supporters has staged a protest outside SSIT. The protestors claim that the raid is a politically motivated move as it comes at a time when the assembly sessions have just begun.
