The Department of Agriculture in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir organised a Soil Health Mela. The mela created awareness on various techniques to boost agriculture practices in the valley. Many farmers participated in the mela with their soil health cards. The scheme started in 2015 and more than 92,000 soil cards are given to the farmers, informed the organiser.
