Sonam Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Sidharth Malhotra 'proud' of IAF Pilots who struck Pakistan's terror camps

Sources suggest that in 21 minutes, India decimated Pakistani terror camps in three locations across the LoC. Bollywood celebrities are praising the IAF pilots who completed this mission and returned home victoriously.

On Tuesday early morning, twelve Indian Air Force (IAF) Mirage-2000 jets crossed the Line of Control (LoC) and destroyed the three major terror camps of Jaish-e-Mohammed in Pakistan. The air strike, which is being called ‘Surgical Strike 2.0’, comes 12 days after a terror attack on CRPF soldiers in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir.

Lauding the mission and victory of India, Bollywood celebrities took to Twitter to post about the same -

Sidharth Malhotra tweeted: "Very proud of the #IndianAirForce. We salute our brave pilots ! जय हिन्द ! जय भारत ! #Respect"

Sonam Kapoor without saying much wrote: "🇮🇳 #IndianAirForce"

Rajkummar Rao wrote: "Saluting our #IndianAirForce for carrying out this strike against terror elements that pose a threat to our country and humanity. Jai hind!🇮🇳 #IndiaStrikesBack"

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra wrote: “Zindagi jeene ke do hi tarike hote hai ... ek jo ho raha hai hone do, bardaasht karte jao ... ya phir zimmedari uthao usse badalneki 🇮🇳#IndiaStrikesBack #IndianAirForce”

As reported by ANI, the intel sources have said that an ammunition dump was blown up in Balakot, Pakistan by IAF Mirages. The dump had more than 200 AK rifles, uncountable rounds hand grenades, explosives and detonators.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a public rally in Churu, Rajasthan said: "Today is a day to pay homage to India's bravehearts. I want to assure you that the country is in safe hands.”

Foreign Secretary Vijay Keshav Gokhale told reporters that a large number of JeM terrorists, trainers, and senior commanders were eliminated in India's non-military, intelligence-led strike on JeM's biggest training camp in Balakot, located in Pakistan.

He said: "Credible intelligence was received that JeM was attempting another suicide terror attack in various parts of the country, and the fidayeen jihadis were being trained for this purpose. In the face of imminent danger, a pre-emptive strike became absolutely necessary.”
