STUNNING PHOTOS: Indian Army's anti-tank guided missile locked and loaded during live firing drill

The Eastern Command of Indian Army tested its anti-tank guided missile detachment during a field training exercise using a mock target on Saturday. 

Under the supervision of General Mohanty of the GOC 33 Corps, which is based in Siliguri, the training field exercise took place.

While it was a training exercise, the missiles hit the mock target with precision and 100% success ratio. The mock target was decimated and blown away with the force of the anti-tank missile.

The exercise not only showed how the new prowess of the new equipment, but also highlighted the might of the Indian army, which boasts of many such hi-tech equipments needed during the battle.

Anti-tank guided missile is used to attack and destroy heavy artilleries. The size of such equipment can range from shoulder-launched weapon, which can be used by just one soldier, to larger tripod-mounted weapons, for which a team or squad is required, not only to fire, but even to transport.
