In this super exclusive newsbreak, Republic TV accessed a letter in the Sunanda murder probe which was written by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to the Delhi Police. In the letter, the ED chief reminds the Delhi Police about pending information it hadn’t shared with the agency despite the elapsing of 6 months.
The explosive letter dated January 18th this year exposes the lack of cooperation by the Delhi Police with the central investigating agency in the death case of Sunanda Pushkar. The letter refers to an earlier ED communication to the Delhi Police dated July 26, 2017 and reads,
“The required information as sought vide above-mentioned letter has not been received, though a period of 6 months has elapsed since.”
The letter confirms that the Delhi Police had withheld key information and raises further questions of a possible go-slow in the case on their part. The ED is presently studying the IPL money angle in Sunanda Pushkar murder probe.
