Days after former Bihar's health minister Tej Pratap Yadav's wife was spotted outside Rabri Devi's residence in tears, his wife Aishwariya Rai on Sunday has alleged that the entire Yadav family is harassing her. Her father and senior RJD leader Chandrika Rai has also reiterated her daughter's allegations. Speaking to Republic TV on Sunday, Aishwariya Rai, who is the daughter-in-law of Lalu Prasad Yadav has alleged: "Today is the first day of Navratri so I was going to the kitchen to fetch water. But they had locked the door. I asked my mother-in-law (Rabri Devi). She said she does not have the key, so I understood it is a conspiracy. I called the protection officer. She then locked herself and was abusing me. I recorded the incident. Then she thought I have done the recording, so she sent the male staff to me, who asked me to delete the video. Meanwhile, the body guards did not allow my parents to enter. These people call themselves lawmakers. They are breaking law at home. I will cotinue to stay in this home, if I go out anything can happen to me. Yes I fear for my life. Scariest place is the safest place. I have filed an FIR. Misa Bharti harasses me the most."
Chandrika Rai also spoke to Republic TV. Narrating the incident about the day, Chandrika Rai said: " I saw her call. She was crying a lot. She said that they (Lal Yadav's family) have thrown her out of the home. They did not give her anything to eat. I went there. I stood there for half an hour. I kept calling Tejashwi and Misa. But they did not respond. I want to talk and solve. But today's incident has shown that they are shameless. Whenever I say that I will speak to Tej Pratap, Lalu Yadav says my son will consume poison. Few days ago when my wife went to see Tej Pratap when he met with an accident, Misa Bharti started abusing and threatening."
Even as the divorce case of Lalu Prasad Yadav's elder son is sub-judice, his wife was spotted leaving Rabri Devi's residence in tears, last month. Lalu's elder son Tej Pratap and his wife Aishwarya Rai are engaged in a legal battle soon after their marriage in 2018. In the latest development, Aishwarya Rai was spotted outside Rabri Devi's official residence. Even as she did not speak to media, cameras captured her crying, after which she sat in her father's car and left the venue. Though Aishwarya last month responded to the divorce plea seeking protection from the family court under the Protection of Women Against Domestic Violence Act, 2005, her being at the residence has piqued speculations of feud in the Yadav family. Aishwariya is the daughter of senior RJD legislator Chandrika Rai. Earlier, Rai also missed the RJD membership drive suggesting tussle within the party due to family problems.
