Former Chief Minister of Bihar and RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav's sons, Tej Pratap and Tejashwi reunited once again amid the speculations of a rift between the two and took everyone by surprise. On the occasion of the Tej Pratap's birthday on Tuesday, Tejashwi took to micro-blogging website Twitter to wish his elder brother with a heartfelt note and adorable cake-cutting pictures.

"Wishing a very happy Birthday to my “Krishna” elder brother, one of the sweetest person I’ve ever known." Wishing abundant happiness, love and life!,” Tejashwi tweeted with pictures of him and Tej Pratap, who turned 30, cutting the birthday cake together.

It's been five months since Bihar politicians Lalu Yadav and Rabri Devi's elder son Tej Pratap moved out of the family home. The mercurial Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader has met his parents on some occasions but has not returned home in Patna.

Earlier, his mother Rabri Devi asked Tej Pratap Yadav to return for good.

"Bahut hua, laut aao beta" (Enough son, please return home)," she said, adding she talks to Tej Pratap Yadav daily on phone.

When asked about reported rift between Tej Pratap and her younger son Tejashwi Yadav, she had said there was no truth in it and was a creation of vested interests.

"Some people have been trying to instigate and mislead my son. It is possible that our rivals', BJP and JD-U, people may be behind it," she added.

Notably, this is not the first the two brothers have shared their moments of reconciliation on social media. Earlier in January, Tej Pratap had shared some pictures on Twitter with younger brother and RJD leader Tejashwi, calling him his "Arjun" and adding that he would like to see to him occupy the "throne".

While there have been rumours of trouble between the RJD party and the Lalu Yadav family over the allotment of seats in Bihar Lok Sabha elections following which Tej Pratap Yadav announced that he would start his own 'Lalu-Rabri Morcha', the RJD leader cleared the air that he would stay with his father's party.
