On June 14, birthday wishes poured in from around the world for United States President Donald Trump who turned 73.

World leaders, heads of state, and residents of the USA and other countries wished the US President. However, amid these worldwide wishes, one particular celebration of Trump's birthday from this side of the world has caught everyone's attention. Bussa Krishna, a resident of Janagam, Telangana, installed a life-sized statue of Donald Trump and organised a small celebration.

He further performed an 'abhishek' with milk, a small ritual that is followed and conducted across South India. The scene was quite an eye-catcher as Krishna installed the statue in a colourful tent with a backdrop of banners wishing Trump.

Purportedly a die-hard fan (and seemingly more), Krishna said:

"I will offer prayers to the statue everyday."

Krishna was earlier in the news for regularly worshipping a portrait of Donald Trump. However, Krishna is not the only person to make news related to President Trump. During the US presidential elections in 2016, a right-wing group organised a prayer ceremony for Donald Trump’s victory. The right-wing group offered seeds, grass and ghee to the holy fire saying, “Donald Trump is the saviour of humanity”.
