Think Beyond IITs? Here are India's top non-IIT Engineering Colleges

As expected, the IITs have dominated this year's NIRF Rankings for best Engineering colleges in the country, which were released by the HRD ministry on Tuesday.

As expected, the IITs have dominated this year's NIRF Rankings for best Engineering colleges in the country, which were released by the HRD ministry on Tuesday.

IITs Madras, Bombay, Delhi, Kharagpur, Kanpur, Roorkee and Guwahati have finished in the top 7 ranks, in that order.

The highest non-IIT in the list is Anna University in Chennai at rank 8.

Here are the top-20 ranked non-IIT Engineering colleges, as well as the rankings of some other well-known ones:
