On the Disha Act 2019 that was passed by the Andhra Pradesh Assembly which mandates the disposal of cases of atrocities against women within 21 days, CPI (M) leader and activist Annie Raja said that the Act does not resolve the main issue. She added that the Telangana government must consider if the provisions that are in place are being implemented adequately. "Do we have enough police personnel," the activist questioned.
