On Saturday, PM Modi in his speech had spoken about minorities being cheated by the Opposition, stating that it must be stopped immediately.

"Unfortunately, the illusion has created a sense of fear among the minorities. It would have been better that the minorities would have been worried about their education and health. In 2019, I expect you to break this illusion. We have to win their trust," he had said.

The business tycoon spoke about 'Tryst with Destiny', which is the first speech by independent India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru in the Constituent Assembly on the midnight of 14-15 August 1947.

On May 23, PM Modi led his NDA alliance to a landslide mandate in the 2019 General polls by winning 353 seats out of 542 seats in the Lok Sabha, with BJP winning 303 seats in its own.
