Amid the court cases going on in the Unnao rape incident and the accident of the rape-survivor, Republic TV's super investigation has exposed the biggest possible cover-up in the case. Republic TV has accessed five videos from two days before the accident that can expose the alleged role of the Uttar Pradesh Police in the case.
The series of five videos which show the alleged connection between aides of rape-accused Unnao MLA Kuldeep Sengar and the cops in the Sitapur jail where he is lodged. Sources have said that the men in the video are Sengar's aides and one of them is even a BJP leader. In a clincher video, one of the alleged aides is seen handing over discreetly to a policeman. Sources have said that the aide was bribing the cops and were having late-night meetings with Sengar.
The text below explains what is going on in the five videos which recorded the outside area of the Sitapur jail where Senger has been kept.
The first video shows two SUVs waiting outside the jail just days before the accident which took lives of the rape-survivor's aunts and has left her and her lawyer in the ICU. It can be seen that the cars allegedly belong to Sengar's aides.
In the second video, it can be seen that the car belongs to the MLA and has the number plate as well as the BJP party flag.
In the third video, it can be seen that visitors who are allegedly Sengar's close aides come out from the jail at midnight and even try to hide their faces.
In the fourth video, it can be seen, as per sources' information, that Sengar's men are waiting outside the jail. Sources also said that one of the men seen in the video is a BJP leader.
The clincher video shows the alleged Sengar aide handing something suspicious to the police discreetly. Sources have alleged that the men were handing over bribes to the police.
On Wednesday, the Supreme Court transferred all the five cases in the Unnao incident. It has ordered the CBI to finish the probe in the accident in seven days and seek for additional seven days time if required. It also directed the lower court in Delhi to fast-track the hearing and finish the trial within 45 days in the Unnao rape cases.
It has ordered protection for rape-survivor and her family by the CRPF and also directed the U.P government to give her interim compensation of Rs 25 lakhs.
