Uttarakhand's COVID-19 tally rose to 727 on Saturday with 11 more people testing positive for coronavirus.

The latest cases were reported from Dehradun district where seven people tested positive for COVID-19 and Tehri district where four more persons were found infected with the deadly virus, a state health department bulletin said.

The seven cases in Dehradun were detected during contract tracing in Niranjanpur Sabzi Mandi, while the four new patients from Tehri had a travel history to Maharashtra, it said.

According to the bulletin, there are 617 active cases in the state, while 102 people have recovered from the disease. Five people are dead and three have migrated out of the state, it said.

However, none of the deaths has been attributed to COVID-19 as the infected persons were suffering from other diseases too.
