A part-time employee at a private university in Varanasi has developed a unique suit. The part-time employee, Shyam Chaurasia designed the unique suit after being inspired by the Iron Man franchise. Shyam Chaurasia developed the unique suit with the aim of helping the Indian Army soldiers in the encounters with enemies.

'Currently, it is just a prototype'

Chaurasia, who works at the Ashoka Institute of Technology and Management, stated that he designed and made the prototype of the suit with keeping the Indian soldiers in mind. "It is a metal suit designed to help the Indian Army soldiers during their encounters with terrorists and enemies. Currently, it is just a prototype, but it can help the soldiers immensely during the times of the battle," Chaurasia told ANI on Monday.

Chaurasia added, "We have used gears and motors and it also has a mobile connection so that it can be used remotely. It has sensors which will help the jawans even when he is attacked from the back." The prototype of the suit was made from "jugaad" technology and is made out of tin. The part-time employee is determined to enhance the prototype further and is seeking more funds to make a working usable model out of it.

'I would urge the government agencies like DRDO to take note of this suit'

Chaurasia further stated that the suit would reduce the risk on the lives of the Indian soldiers' lives at the same would act as a deterrent to the enemies of the nation and at the same time embolden the soldiers even further. Chaurasia further urged the government agencies to note of this suit, Chaurasia stated, "I would urge the government agencies like DRDO to take note of this suit and to build upon it to help the soldiers as other countries like Pakistan among others too are working on such models. The cost of a soldier's life is very high, what I have done is just an attempt to bring it in the radar of DRDO and other agencies."
