With viral videos and images shared frequently on social media, one video has made India proud as a nation full of budding athletes. The video which seems to be made in India shows two school kids doing gymnastics acts that would earn them ten on ten on scorecards. And no wonder, the video happened to catch the attention of Olympic Gold medalist from Onesti, Romania Nadia Elena Comaneci, who paid the kids a huge compliment that aspiring career athletes dream about.
The viral video shows a girl and a boy, both in their school uniforms and backpacks walking on the concrete road. The girl taps the shoulder of the boy who runs and delivers perfectly what is probably called flip. The boy is followed in quick succession by the girl who does a cartwheel and what appears to be a front flip. The video is set to melodious tune.
The vidoe has got appreciation from Nadia Comaneci. She has posted the video commenting that it was awesome. The video has got wider audience owing her post and comment. Many commentators are Indians who can't contain their joy in seeing little kids' talent being acknowledged by a superstar athlete.
Nadia Elena Comăneci is a Romanian retired gymnast who achieved remarkable feats as an athlete. She is a five-time Olympics gold medalist in individual events. Comaneci is also the first-ever gymnast to be awarded a perfect score of 10.0 at the Olympics and then, at the same Games, she received six more perfect 10s leading her to win three gold medals.
