The #FitnessChallenge initiated by Union Minister of State (MoS) Col Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore took the country by storm earlier this year. Several prominent political figures, sportsmen and Bollywood celebrities participated in the challenge to spread awareness about the importance of physical fitness and health. Taking the 'Hum Fit Toh India Fit' challenge to another level, Union Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment Dr. Thawar Chand Gehlot has posted a video on social media featuring him taking a dive into a swimming pool from a 20-foot long diving board.
The 70-year-old BJP leader took to Twitter on Thursday and shared the video speaking about the importance of swimming for healthy living and also inviting other citizens to participate in the #HumFitTohIndiaFit campaign.
Dr Gehlot went on to caption the video saying, "Swimming is a highly beneficial exercise for health. It also teaches you the art of sportsmanship, time-management, self-discipline and goal-setting in life. I urge you to participate in the #HumFitTohIndiaFit campaign introduced by Rajyavardhan Rathore and make yourself and the nation hail and hearty".
