In a hilarious example that conveys in every sense the true meaning of the phrase 'sign of the times', a first-grader is completely changing the syllabus content.
In a picture from the student's environmental studies notebook (purportedly) that was uploaded on Twitter, the questions are about food - why we need it and where it comes from. The first question - 'Why do we need to eat food?' - comes with a fairly accurate response: 'Because we need energy'. The second question, however, gets a zinger of an response.
The student has been asked: 'What are the sources of food?'
The answer is: 'The main sources of food are plants and animals, Swiggy, Zomato and Foodpanda'
The Internet-aware child clearly knows all about food-ordering platforms. And now, the platforms are beginning to respond. Swiggy replied to the user who uploaded the picture and said that the kid had won their hearts:
"Hey Pravin! Well...this kid just stole our heart Our morning is off to a great start Thank you for sharing this wonderful message with us!" they said
