A heavy confrontation between Madhya Pradesh police and CRPF jawans in Bhopal erupted over the IT raids conducted in the state. 

Amid this clash, both the MP Police and CRPF personnel indulged in a blame game, where the state police accused the CRPF of blocking common people inside the complex, meanwhile, the CRPF in return maintained that the MP police is 'stopping' them from doing their duty while the investigation is underway. 

They said, "We have nothing to do with raids. We came here because CRPF is not allowing complex people to go inside. CRPF is blocking common people inside the complex."

The CRPF said, "MP Police is stopping us to do our duty, they are abusing us. We are just following senior official orders. The investigation is still going on. We can't allow anyone to go inside the premises where an investigation is on."

IT searches divulge that Rs. 281 crores have been collected by Kamal Nath's MLAs, and from businessmen for the election funding of Congress party. Furthermore, it is known that Rs. 20 crores were sent to the AICC headquarters on Saturday, as per sources. 

IT sources have also told Republic that their teams are 'not safe' inside and the IT team has thus locked themselves inside while the MP Police is preventing them from going out.

The Income Tax department is conducting widespread raids since Sunday morning across India with regards, said sources. The raids which began at 3:00 am are being done in 50 locations in Goa, Madhya Pradesh, and Delhi, the sources added.

Among those who under the I-T scanner in the raids are Madhya Pradesh CM's nephew Ratul Puri and the Congress leader's close aides, the sources said.
