Clothes materials of every kind - furry caps, extra-large cardigans, outlandish overalls - come from across the world to the port town of Kandla in the western coast of Gujarat, after which they are transported to a recycling plant in Panipat. In the plant, the rejected clothes are being recycled to make reusable clothing, and then exported across the world. Every day hundreds of tonnes of clothes from across the world arrive in India. The businessmen in Kandla Port call them "mutilated" clothing.

As per reports, India is the one of the largest importers of used clothes, beating countries such as Russia and Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Anand Mahindra placed his vote on April 29. He posted a picture of his inked finger on his Twitter account, saying that "It’s a privilege to have been born & lived in a democratic nation."
