Pertaining to intelligence inputs of a terror threat backed by the Pakistani military establishments, the Jammu and Kashmir government issued an unprecedented security advisory, asking Amarnath Yatris to curtail their stay and return back from the valley.
The letter was issued considering the prevailing security threat in the Kashmir valley. The notice came hours after after a joint press brief was held by Chinar Corps Commander Lt General KJS Dhillon and J&K DGP Dilbag Singh in Srinagar, wherein they categorically stated that Pakistan Army and Pakistan is 'desperate to disrupt' the peace in Kashmir and that there was a 'massive threat of IEDs'.
Sharing crucial intelligence reports, Army had revealed that the Pakistan Military and Islamabad have been backing terrorist outfits to cause disruption in the Kashmir valley.
However, regional leaders PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti and NC leader Omar Abdullah questioned the Amarnath Yatra security advisory.
There is going to be a cleanup of terrorists and their minders in Kashmir. Even though there is no official announcement yet this much is clear to everyone that Prime Minister Modi and the Home Minister Amit Shah have decided that enough is enough and the time to say Nation First No Compromise is here not just in spirit but indeed. There will be desperation among the Abdullahs, Mehboobas, Azads and Shah Faesls who will realise that the old ways of negotiating with New Delhi by holding it to ransom via terrorists won't work. That this dispensation in New Delhi doesn’t negotiate or compromise. That a New India knows its strength and won't hesitate to use it, with brutal focus and brutal effectiveness. This is the time and we must all come together and support the army and the government. The threat to Amarnath Yatris is real, their blood has been spilled in the past. Only then, we didn’t forgive or forget but our governments did. This government won't let that happen and it appears to all of us clear as crystal that time the war against terrorism will be absolute. I don’t know what the government will call it. Tonight I call it operation Kashmir and I call upon all right-thinking nationalistic Indians to join hands and stand by our forces. They are defending Kashmir against the enemy for us. We need to show them our support and our gratitude.
