  • BJP has tweeted out a video of Hafiz Saeed wherein he was praising the grand old party.

On a day when a big political fight has broken out between the Congress party and the Bharatiya Janata Party over Lashkar endorsing Ghulam Nabi Azad's statement, BJP has tweeted out a video of globally designated terrorist Hafiz Saeed wherein he was praising the grand old party. The BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra while tweeting the video, wrote:

“Pak favouring statements by Gulam Navi Azad or Saifuddin Soz are not stand alone cases ..thanks to the consistent efforts of the @INCIndia even “Hafiz Saeed ko Congress pasand hai” (Hafiz Saeed likes Congress).”

In the video, Saeed can be seen saying that Congress had asked the BJP to not put allegations on Pakistan.

“Now, see the discussions that have taken place in Congress. Congress told BJP that don't put allegations on Pakistan. You look into your own house first. What are you doing in Kashmir, you have indulged in violence there (unclear) and you can't solve the issue by just blaming it on Pakistan. So i think there must be good people too,” said Hafiz Saeed

Meanwhile,Congress leader Saifuddin Soz spoke to Republic TV on his Kashmir statement demanding Azadi. Soz defended his statement and stood by his words on Kashmir.

Earlier in the day, Soz courted controversy after saying that he is of the same opinion of former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf and believes that “Azadi is the first option for Kashmir.”

“Musharraf said that azadi is the first option for Kashmir. I say the same thing. It's mentioned in the book. It was correct then, it's correct now. But it's not possible. Azadi can be obtained in another way, due to which Pak and Indian boundaries stay intact. Jammu and Kashmir has 5 parts, India has 3 parts, let them sleep peacefully, there's dignity in this and there won't be a deal on one's honour. They will not compromise the principle of politics,” said Soz.
