An Irish passenger misbehaved with the in-flight crew and created quite a scene on an Air India international flight after she was denied more drinks by the crew. She verbally abused the crew on-board a London-Mumbai Air India flight.
While it took place on November 10, a video of the incident has been making the rounds on the social media currently.
According to reports, the Irish woman, who was apparently in the business class of the flight, was already quite drunk and that is the reason the on-board crew refused to serve her more alcohol, keeping in mind the protocol.
Following this, the video shows the woman, who called herself an ‘international lawyer’, indulging in an abusive rant with the male crew, who is seen standing calm and composed.
In the video clip, the female Irish passenger whose identity is still unknown, can be heard saying: "I'm working for you people..I am an international criminal lawyer"
Reportedly, she was handed over to the police at Heathrow Airport as soon as the flight landed at in London. A formal complaint has been against the abusive woman in the matter. The police are probing into the case.
Furthermore, Air India airline has taken a call to put her under the no-fly list.
In an earlier incident on Tuesday, Air India's Director of Operations, Arvind Kathpalia was sacked from his post, a day after his flying license got suspended for three years by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
The airlines grounded its chief of operations Captain A K Kathpalia after he allegedly failed to clear pre-flight alcohol test, while another Air India flight was delayed by over six hours after a pilot forgot to undergo the mandatory breath analyser test, airline sources said.
