Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje on Friday responded to Sharad Yadav's mysogynistic comment made against her a day before, saying the Election Commission should take cognizance of it adding that 'such language against women will not be tolerated'.
"To set an example and for the future it's important that EC takes cognisance of this kind of language. I feel insulted, I feel women are insulted, no man speaks like that to another man. The way he had spoken to women will not be tolerated."
Loktantrik Janata Dal party leader Sharad Yadav on Thursday made a bodyshamed Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje.Speaking during a rally in Alwar, he said, "Give her some rest, she is tired and becoming fat."
Meanwhile, Sharad Yadav has said that he did not mean the comment in a derogatory way. "I said it as a joke. I've old relations with her. It wasn't derogatory in any way. I had no intentions of hurting her. When I met her, I told her then also that you're gaining weight," he clarified.

I am absolutely shocked, I don't think an experienced neta, who has close relationship with Rajmata, should speak that way. He did not control his speech as it It gives a (wrong) example to youngsters.
