Businessman Mukesh and Nita Ambani on Monday presented their son Akash Ambani’s wedding card at the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai.
The couple, along with younger son Anant, were seen arriving at the temple in the evening, amid heavy security. The devotees and the others gathered at the venue were seen clicking photographs and recording videos of one of the most famous families in the country.
Later, a video of the trio presenting the grand wedding card to the temple priest also surfaced on social media. The priest is seen performing the rituals on the card while the holy verses are chanted.
Akash, who is involved with the family firm Reliance Industries, is set to get married to fiancee Shloka Mehta, daughter of diamantaire Russell Mehta and Mona Mehta. The couple’s engagement held at their residence on June 30 saw the who’s who of Bollywood making an appearance, like most other gatherings of the family.
Akash’s sister Isha had also got married in a similar grand manner, with the sangeet in Udaipur even featuring international pop sensation Beyonce, apart from celebrities of the film industry.
The family is yet to officially announce the details of the wedding, but reports claim the ceremonies are likely to be held from March 9 to 11 in Mumbai.
