After offering prayers at the Kedarnath temple, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen meditating in a holy cave draped in a saffron robe.
On his two-day visit to Uttarakhand beginning May 18, after paying obeisance at the Himalayan shrine, PM Modi is currently in Rudra Gufa which is 2 km away from the shrine where he is reported to spend the night meditating in solitude.
Media visuals have been prohibited at the cave until Sunday morning.
Holding a rainbow umbrella, PM Modi trekked for 2 kilometers to reach the cave, ANI reported
During his visit, dressed in pahari outfit, PM Modi even interacted with the officials to review the Kedarnath Development Project.
Prior to that, PM Modi offered prayers to Lord Shiva and then later waved to the crowd gathered around.
Earlier in the morning, PM Narendra Modi shared pictures of the "majestic mountains" that he clicked on the way.
